Berry Happy

 Small branches of these lovely elderberries as part of my photo composition for the new Autumn bobby pins collection -  now available to purchase from my shop

The woodland is once again teaming with berries of various varieties ripe for picking at this time of year. The two that I came across on my walk yesterday and today are blackberries, and elderberries. Picking blackberries was a lot of fun so much so that I managed to pick I think over a kilo in one walk! Until today I had never come across the elderberry which are a lot smaller and harder to spot but once you notice them you soon find that they're everywhere!  if you do happen to be in the countryside be sure to check them out before they're gone as they're really quite lovely

Mental Health Awareness Week 2014 | 12th-18th May

 

Its mental health awareness week and  this year the mental health foundation are raising aware for anxiety. Many people suffer from anxiety from mild to extreme cases but those who experience severe anxiety may not know how to get the right help and manage their illness.  The mental health foundation have produced a guide on living with anxiety and is available to download and print for free

Brick and Mortar presence for Orchha Jewels

I'm really delighted to announce that my jewellery and hair accessories are now available to purchase from the Hart Gallery :) Found along White Hart Street in Mansfield its a lovely local arts and craft boutique where you can find handmade jewellery, art and textile all produced by local artisans like myself. If you are in the vicinity then do pop in and have a browse and I understand they also run small workshops in a range of crafts including crochet so its a really good place to get creative inspiration as well as meeting the like-minded!
