Handy Tip
I understand that organising your wedding can be both exciting and overwhelming especially when you have so much choice! A great way to start is to keep a paper notebook or better still an online scrapbook like Pinterest.com to pin all your internet finds and this can help you work out a theme and whittle down your choices.

DIY | Jewellery display
TOOLKIT
What you will need:
- Wooden kitchen utensil tray
- Hooks
- Paintbrush
- Paint in desired colour
- Sheet to cover workspace from paint spillages
Step OneStart by applying a coat of paint onto the tray. Brush the paint on in the same direction of the wood grain to keep it looking smooth.
Step TwoAllow the first coat to dry. Depending on the quality/thickness of the paint, you may need to apply another coat. We found that two coats did the job.
Step Three
Allow plenty of time for the paint to dry. Re-apply any paint to areas which the wood may have absorbed the paint more.
Step Four
Decide where you would like the hooks positioning. We decided to have three for necklaces to hang and two hooks in the last section for bracelets.

Make a small hole first with the sharp end of the hooks and twist them in securely.
We loved how we were able to transform something you wouldn't usually think about for a jewellery display. Kitchen utensil drawers are easy to find in home ware stores or supermarkets and the section at the bottom is perfect for displaying rings. The tray can stand on its own or even be attached to a wall if you're handy with a hammer.
